Cherub Fun Run,

1 Mile Run and 5K

 

St. Raphael School in Rockville is hosting its 14th Annual Angels on the Run!

This year, we will be celebrating our wonderful SRS Teachers and Staff, and all they do to anchor our children in their faith and help them soar in knowledge! In addition to the races, there will be a DJ, dancing, a bake sale, and fun activities for all!

Proceeds from AOR help fund St. Raphael School, its programs, and its Teacher and Staff Gift Fund.

All races are untimed, with a focus on fitness, friendship and fun! 

Race participants will receive a small medal for their efforts.

Top finishers in the 1 mile and 5K race will be acknowledged and celebrated!

 

On Race Day:

  • Please arrive no later than 8 a.m. on 11/15 for the AOR kick-off celebration!
  • Allow extra time to park. Your best parking options are the Potomac Woods Pool or Falls Road Local Park (aka - Hadley's Park). SRS School & Church lots will be limited and Ritchie Park Elementary School will be closed.
  • If you did not pick up your packet at the pickup event, you may check-in between 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. to receive your packet onsite.
  • Walk in registrations are welcome the morning of the race for $35 a runner. Cash or check made payable to SRS only. T-Shirts are subject to availability, and will be distributed first come, first served. 

Race Start Times:

Cherub/Fun Run -- 8:15 a.m.

AOR 1 Mile -- 8:30 a.m.

AOR 5K -- 8:55 a.m.

 

The Race Routes:

Please familiarize yourself with the route maps before race day. There will be signs, race marshals, water stations, first aide, and police stationed throughout the course for the safety of the runners.

 

AOR Packet/T-Shirt Pick-Up & Pep Rally Information:

Race participants are invited to stop by the St. Raphael Circle to pick up their race packets and T-shirts from 3:15-5:45 on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Students are invited to wear this year's or any previous year's AOR race t-shirt to school on Friday, November 14, 2025 for the annual Angels on the Run Pep Rally!
