ST. RAPHAEL WELCOMES MICHAEL SHWEDICK AND FRIENDS!
On Saturday April 24th, St. Raphael's will welcome Michael Shwedick and his beautiful collection of reptiles from around the world! For 48 years, Michael has introduced audiences from Miami to Boston to the world of reptiles. His presentations are full of both humor and passion - with Michael's earnest desire to teach about these fascinating and largely misunderstood creatures shining through in each talk.
Having been featured by National Geographic WORLD, CBS, The Washington Post and numerous other media sources, Michael's adventures with people rival his adventures with snakes and gators! From the living room of Robert Kennedy's home, to the set of Oprah! and in a boxing ring with Sugar Ray Leonard, Michael and his "friends" have amazed audiences. Among others, John Ritter, Gloria Vanderbilt, Mighty Max Weinberg of the E Street Band and Famous Amos have all enjoyed Michael's show. Richard Simmons too...even while exercising!
